I’m fascinated by human society and people in general. Their slight differences -the little quirks that make us ourselves - are my main focus. What actually holds my attention is the moment a person stops performing for the camera and starts acting the way they would if no one were watching.
That is also what I look for in a studio; not the artist posed beside the work, but the artist at work, forgetting I’m there. Sharing the space and experiencing the ambience together allows moments to be born inside the cradle of creativity.
I aspire to see through the glass and create something shared, honest; with an artist, an institution, nature, a person.
